Opening Ceremony Kickoff Party at the Levee

Let the Games begin!

Newport on the Levee is transforming into the Olympic Village for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Get ready to show off your Olympic spirit at the Opening Ceremony Kickoff Party on Friday, July 26th! Friends, families, teammates, neighbors, and more are invited to celebrate this "quadrennial" event.

A live broadcast of the Opening Ceremony in Paris on our LED screens starts at 2:30pm. The kickoff party begins at 5pm in the Plaza. Activations include:

• Ceremonial Torch Relay with local mascots including Rosie Red, Gapper, Gary the Lion, and more

• Interactive Parade of Flags

• International Dance Showcase featuring McGing Irish Dancers, Cultural Centre of India, and The Hellenic Dancers
